More E-series support for Nokia Media Transfer for Mac

As noted at E-series.org, Nokia has silently added support for some more of the E-Series products for Nokia Media Transfer for Mac. I am sitting at a pesky PC right now, unable to try this out myself, but apparently you should be able to have NMT check for updates to install the updated version.

E-series owners, let me know how this goes.

Sadly new 6120 Classic is not yet supported and I have to manage my media with USB mass storage profile (miniUSB in the phone rocks!). I hope Nokia is implementing the support fast because I really want to check out this program soon. At least I can use iSync with the phone (only a simple hack is needed. more @momenttiavain.com).

Nokia Media Transfer + E61i

Works pretty flawlessly on my E61i, both with bluetooth and USB. USB is of course preferable, much faster.

The only thing I´m missing right now is my notes. I cannot access them anywhere from my mac. My only option now is mailing them to myself. Fonelink is better here, but I´m still holding out for Fonelink to squash a few more bugs.

Nokia Media Transfer is not "OSX beautiful", I think, but it does the job. Hopefully upcoming updates will include more then just device-compatability. Give me my notes, please, Nokia...

Works with E65

Works with E65. It just took a little while before I understood that i can't drag songs of photos directly to the folders created in iTunes and iPhoto, respectively, but that I need to create playlists and albums first and only then can I drag.

Having an iPod nano and a real camera, I'm planning to use this for transferring video podcasts to the device.

Notes would be welcome, that's for sure.
