The S60 community has been going all berzerk over JoikuSpot over the last few days, and for a good reason. This free third-party application (in beta) turns your S60 handset to a wifi access point, sharing your cellular net connection (HDSPA, 3G, GPRS, EDGE etc.) with other devices over WLAN.
If the barebones On the road tutorial does not satisfy your need of cellular connectivity information, have a look at a very in-depth article on the topic at Tao of Mac: HOWTO Setup GPRS/UMTS Access On a Mac.
NOTE: These instructions apply to Tiger and earlier. With Leopard, there is generally no need to fiddle with modem scripts. Instructions for Leopard will be updated shortly.
